Visiting Barcelona

With your registration fee, you also get an unlimited four-day (96h) pass called Hola Barcelona Travel Card which allows you to use all means of transport in and around Barcelona. This includes travel between the airport and the city centre on public transport (metro Line 9S).

It also includes changeovers between different travel operators: metro, Montjuïc funicular, bus (TMB), urban railway (FGC, Zone 1), tram (TRAM), and Barcelona regional mainline trains (Rodalies de Catalunya, Zone 1). The Montjuïc Cable Car is not included.

You can find more information on the TMB (our main local public transport provider) website.

BetàniaPatmos is located in the neighborhood of Pedralbes, which is conveniently connected to the rest of the city, and from where there are amazing views of Barcelona.

The closest metro stations to our school are Reina Elisenda (L12) and Sarrià (L6, L7, L12, S1, S2), both belonging to the public company FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya). You can find a downloadable map of public transport below.

The bus is also very convenient, and the closest bus stops are Avinguda d'Esplugues-Avinguda Pearson or Bisbe Català-Plaça de Pedralbes (lines 63, 68, 78, H4, and V5).

Barcelona is a fantastic city for visitors, and has plenty of places and monuments you should not miss. You will have opportunity of visiting some of them with your hosts, who will organise some walking tours around some of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of our city, but do check out the Visit Barcelona website for more ideas if you have some extra time.
